Hola! I am excited to be part of the Koné Consulting team. I have partnered with Alicia Koné while on other teams for a couple of years now, and I know that Koné Consulting is a great team to work with.

Before finishing college in México, I had decided to come and study graduate school in the U.S. That decision has influenced half my life, and since 1997 I have made the USA my home and my country. All my family lives in México and although it is tough to be that far away from them, I am very dedicated and committed to my parents, two sisters and four godchildren (15, 18, 22 and 25).

Of all the places in America, I love Washington, DC, which has been my town for the last eight years. What I love about DC is that it has the perfect combination of a metropolitan city and that everything you want is within a scooter ride (my favorite mode of transportation). My partner Mayra and I enjoy DC so much that we recently bought a house here.

My background is in Economics and I have been conducting research and evaluation projects for over 25 years since first working in the Ministry of Health (México) in 1995. I have always had an interest for social welfare and health policy and especially making better public policy. Although my core expertise is in health services research, I have worked in many different subject-matter topics including fair lending, economic development, labor policy and anything that uses program evaluation.

I know working at Koné Consulting will be a great professional and personal experience and I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here. Working coast to coast, from Washington State to Washington, DC, the sky is the limit!

Welcome to the team, Oswaldo – we look forward to learning from YOU, and look forward to our future together.
