St. Genevieve Fundraiser - Introducing Jacqueline
Hello, friends.
As you know, we are once again fundraising for the St. Genevieve Welcome Center in Côte d'Ivoire. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing stories of some of the young adults who have benefited from the services St. Genevieve offers. They have given us permission to do so.
Today, we'd like to introduce Jacqueline. Jacqueline was 9 when she was orphaned and had nowhere to go. She was living on the streets when she met a nun who took her into the church. A relative who knew of Jacqueline's situation and knew Father Germain connected the two. Since then, Jacqueline has been at the Welcome Center. Jacqueline shares that she is happy because the Welcome Center has given her a family. Jacqueline is now 19 and is in pastry school.
Your support is crucial in providing the essentials—food, non-food items, medical care, and educational support—that help each resident thrive. With the center now caring for a wider age range, including young adults, the need for adult-sized supplies and tailored support has grown.
Jacqueline would specifically benefit from help with tuition, books, and transportation costs.
Your donations to the St. Genevieve Welcome Center provide direct support to youth who would otherwise likely be homeless. Are you able to make a small donation today?
