DAY 1 - Arrival IN Abidjan

Wednesday - 4/21

Evening: Flights arriving in Abidjan (ABJ). Light group dinner.

DAY 2 - Museum and Parc du Banco

Thursday - 4/22

Morning: Continental breakfast, tour orientation, and money exchange. Visit Musée des Civilisations - Abidjan. Fabric shopping at Woodin.

Afternoon: Picnic Lunch and tour of Parc du Banco

Evening: Group dinner

DAY 3 - the botanical garden of bingerville

Friday - 4/23

Morning: Breakfast, visit tailor, tour the Adjame Market.

Afternoon: Lunch (buy your own), tour the Botanical Garden of Bingerville

Evening: Dinner at Espace Bethenine

DAY 4 - Free Day

Saturday - 4/24

Morning: Continental breakfast, free time

Afternoon: Lunch at Le Quai or Assoyam

Evening: Optional: Dinner on your own or at Espace Bethenine, nightclub outing at Cafe Zougoulou

DAY 5 - Sporting Event

Sunday - 4/25

Morning: Continental breakfast, sporting event, boat tour

Afternoon: Lunch at mall (buy your own)

Evening: Dinner at Koné Apartments

DAY 6 - YAMOUSSOUKRO / MAN

Monday - 4/26

Morning: Depart at 7:00 AM for Yamoussoukro, breakfast at truck stop in Youpougon (buy your own), 11:00 AM tour of Our Lady of Peace Basilica.

Afternoon: Group lunch, Presidential Palace & crocodiles, travel to Man, hotel check-in

Evening: Group dinner at hotel (ready upon arrival)

DAY 7 - Man

Tuesday - 4/27

Morning: Continental breakfast at hotel. Optional: 2K hike La Dent Man Trail

Afternoon: Picnic lunch, visit monkeys, visit waterfalls

Evening: Group dinner at hotel

DAY 8 - OdiennÉ

Wednesday - 4/28

Morning: Continental breakfast at hotel, depart at 8:30 AM for Odienné (approx. 12:30 PM arrival)

Afternoon: Lunch at hotel & early check-in, casual time at local village

Evening: Group dinner at hotel

DAY 9 - OdiennÉ

Thursday - 4/29

Morning: Continental breakfast at the hotel, visit local village

Afternoon: Lunch: feast at village, followed by more village time with optional: fishing, swimming, mangoes (peak season!)

Evening: Dinner on your own

DAY 10 - KORHOGO

Friday - 4/30

Morning: Continental breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for Korhogo

Afternoon: Lunch at Restaurant Le Savanna, visit Museum (Museé Régional Péléforo Gbon Coulibaly de Korhogo at 1:30

Evening: Group dinner at hotel.

DAY 11 - Travel day

Saturday - 5/1

Morning: Continental breakfast at hotel, check-out, drive back to Abidjan

Afternoon: Lunch in Yamoussoukro

Evening: Dinner at Koné apartments

DAY 12 - RESORT/BEACH DAY

Sunday - 5/2

Morning: Continental breakfast, beach day at Assoyam Resort (Bassam)

Afternoon: Beach day at Assoyam Resort (buy your own lunch and beverages)

Evening: Dinner at Koné apartments

DAY 13 - ABIDJAN ZOO

Monday - 5/3

Morning: Continental breakfast, tailor

Afternoon: Lunch (at zoo if restaurant is open), zoo tour

Evening: Dinner out in Grand Bassam - Group choice

DAY 16 - Depart for USA

Thursday - 5/6

Morning: Continental breakfast, visit to Abidjan art market

Afternoon: Lunch and souvenir shopping

Evening: Farewell dinner at Koné apartments, packing, leave for flight(s).
