DAY 1 - Arrival to Abidjan
Monday - 07/18
Afternoon: Ethiopia air flight arriving to Abidjan at 3 pm.
Evening: Group dinner and free time.
DAY 2 - Downtown Abidjan
Tuesday - 07/19
Morning: Breakfast, tour orientation and money exchange. Leave for Musée des Civilisations de Côte d'Ivoire around 10:30 am.
Afternoon: Travel to Parc du Banco and eat lunch before exploring.
Evening: Guided dinner and free time.
DAY 3 - Songon
Wednesday - 07/20
Morning: Breakfast and leave for Songon around 8:30 am.
Afternoon: Lunch at Songon resort and leave for Abidjan around 3:30.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 4 - Fabric and Coffee Tour
Thursday - 07/21
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and then fabric shopping at Plateau
Afternoon: Lunch and then coffee factory tour.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 5 - Tailor, Art Shopping
Friday - 07/22
Morning: Breakfast and then a visit to the Tailor or free time.
Afternoon: Art shopping at Centre Artisanal of Laville.
Evening: Dinner
DAY 6 - Abidjan Zoo
Saturday- 07/23
Morning: Breakfast and free time.
Afternoon: Lunch and then leave for the Abidjan zoo around 1:00 pm.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 7 - Yamoussoukro
Sunday - 07/24
Morning: Breakfast and then depart Abidjan at 8:15 for the tour of The Basilica of Our Lady of Peace in Yamoussoukro.
Afternoon: Lunch in Yamoussoukro
Evening: Check into Hotel Mon Afrik and enjoy the pool and scenery before dinner, and then more free time.
DAY 8 - Bouaké
Monday - 07/25
Morning: Breakfast and then a bus tour of the city of Bouaké and Bouaké University.
Afternoon: Lunch in Bouaké and then free time at the hotel.
Evening: Dinner and more free time.
DAY 9 - St. Genevieve, Katiola
Tuesday - 07/26
Morning: Breakfast and then depart for Katiola Sainte Genevieve de Katiola Orphelinat at 8:30 AM. We will be meeting the Chiefs of Katiola before we arrive to St. Genevieve.
Afternoon: Lunch in the village and then some time at St. Genevieve before the hotel.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 10 - Kofissiokaha Pottery Tour
Wednesday - 07/27
Morning: Breakfast and then depart for Kofissiokaha and learn about pottery.
Afternoon: Lunch in the village and then depart for Grand Bassam.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 11 - Ehotile National Park
Thursday - 07/28
Morning: Breakfast and then depart for the Ehotile National Park Tour.
Afternoon: Lunch in the National Park and then return to to Grand Bassam.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 12 - Free time in grand Bassam
Friday - 07/29
Morning: Breakfast and then free time.
Afternoon: Lunch on your own and more free time to enjoy the beach or explore the city of Grand Bassam.
Evening: Dinner and more free time.
DAY 13 - ONG WEL Service Day
Saturday - 07/30
Morning: Breakfast and then ONG WEL Service Day.
Afternoon: Lunch with ONG WEL and then continue the Service Day.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 14 - COVID TEsting (If required)
Sunday - 07/31
Morning: Breakfast and then do COVID testing so the results are available by our departure day.
Afternoon: Lunch and free time.
Evening: Dinner and free time.
DAY 15 - Souvenir Shopping & Farewell Dinner
Monday - 08/01
Morning: Breakfast and then shopping in the Grand Bassam markets.
Afternoon: Lunch and preparing for the airport.
Evening: Farewell dinner and traveler awards.
DAY 16 - Depart for USA
Tuesday - 08/02
Morning: Breakfast and then leave for our flight with Ethiopia Air at 9:45.
