Client Spotlight: City of Roseville, California

Our team kicked-off a project this week with the City of Roseville, a vibrant community 35 miles north of Sacramento, with a rich history and charming downtown core. We are excited to be performing a Community Needs Assessment for the city, which is home to around 139,000 people (double the population from 2004) and boasts an admirable commitment to human services and quality of life for its residents.

Perhaps most notable, is the way in which the City of Roseville has ensured its commitment to human services through a $14-million-dollar endowment established from proceeds of the sale of their city-owned hospital in 1993, now run by a health care organization. A significant portion of the interest earned each year, 90%, $365,000 in the current cycle, is given through grants to organizations within the community for the purpose of improving quality of life for the citizens of Roseville.  The city employees and retirees also embrace charitable giving through R.E.A.C.H., the Roseville Employees Annual Charitable Hearts Fund, designed to serve youth, seniors and families in the South Placer County region.

We look forward to our partnership with the City of Roseville and discovering more about this engaging community.
