Beat the Heat! Hibiscus Tea with a Twist
Here on the west coast we’re experiencing a heat wave (okay, so it’s “only” gotten up to 94 degrees Fahrenheit, but that’s HOT by Seattle standards). It’s the perfect time to enjoy our favorite Ivoirian beverage while imagining relaxing on the beach in Côte d’Ivoire.
What’s your favorite way to cool off on a warm summer day?
Hibiscus Tea with a Twist
Serves you and a friend
½ cup hibiscus tea concentrate (see the Koné family recipe, here)
1 large lime, juiced
2 ounces tequila
1 Tbsp simple syrup
Mix ingredients in a shaker; pour in two glasses over ice.
