St. Genevieve Fundraiser - Introducing Philomene

Bonjour from Côte d’Ivoire!

If you are a new subscriber, Koné Consulting has been fundraising for the St. Genevieve Welcome Center in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa. You can learn more about the orphanage and our fundraiser here.

We will be delivering cash and supplies in-person to Father Germain during this month’s visit. Thank you to everyone who has given so generously!

Today, we’d like to introduce Philomene.

Philomene is 22. She lost her mom when she was 5. She lived with her aunt briefly, but her aunt was so sick she was taken to St. Genevieve for care. This was before donations helped to build the new expanded Welcome Center, so during that time Philomene lived in foster care. Now she lives at the new Welcome Center. She recently graduated from high school and plans to pursue a degree in agriculture to become a farmer. Philomene would benefit from tuition assistance, books, and transportation costs.
