St. Genevieve Fundraiser - Introducing Jean

Bonjour from Côte d’Ivoire!

If you are a new subscriber, Koné Consulting has been fundraising for the St. Genevieve Welcome Center in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa. You can learn more about the orphanage and our fundraiser here.

We will be delivering cash and supplies in-person to Father Germain during this month’s visit. Thank you to everyone who has given so generously!

Today, we’d like to introduce Jean.

Jean doesn’t remember his parents as they both passed away when he was a baby. He went to live with his uncle, but his uncle abused him so badly he left the house and lived on the street. One day, a woman he didn’t know took him to Father Germain because she didn’t want to see him on the street. Now, he has a family at St. Genevieve. He knows he is loved and they will do anything for him. St. Genevieve has given him a chosen family and he is forever grateful. Jean went to ceramics training school and is pursuing a career teaching ceramics. Jean would benefit from tuition assistance and supplies. Jean thanks the Center and everyone that is contributing to their happiness and success.
